45 minutes of Sens, not far from Provins, discover the elegant castle of la Motte-Tilly, built of brick and sandstone, perfect illustration of a domain of the 18th century. Enjoy the intimist atmosphere and the peace of its 60-hectare park, with its French or English-style gardens, dominating a loop of the Seine and built around a "mirror" of water. We owe the last owner of the castle, the Marquise de Maillé, the beautiful interior design of the apartments and the remarkable furniture, mainly of Louis 15th, Louis 16th or the Regency period, stamped by the best cabinetmakers of the Ancien Régime. Free visit of the park. Guided tours of the castle ( 1 hour) at a set time. Possibility of visits-conferences on reservation.
