About

-----
45 minutes from Sens, not far from Provins, discover the elegant castle of La Motte-Tilly, all brick and sandstone, a perfect illustration of an 18th century estate. Let yourself be captivated by its intimate atmosphere and the tranquillity of its vast 60-hectare park, with its formal or English-style gardens, overlooking a loop of the Seine and arranged around a "mirror" of water.
The last owner of the castle, the Marquise de Maillé, was responsible for the beautiful interior decoration of the flats and the remarkable furniture, mainly from the Louis XV, Louis XVI and Regency periods, stamped by the best cabinet makers of the Ancien Régime.

Guided tours lasting one hour are offered to discover the richness of the interior collections.

For groups, guided tours can be organised on request.

The park is open until 6pm during the off-season, 7pm during peak season.

The castle is open all year round.
