The name “Extraordinaires Voyages” was chosen as a tribute to the books by Jules Verne of the same name, and they were the inspiration for the first edition of this event in 2017.
The programme for this unique event varies each year depending on the chosen historical theme. There are parades, concerts, exhibitions as well as workshops and games the whole family will love, all in a festive and welcoming atmosphere, in the middle of the summer.
Do you need some downtime to recover from all these emotions? There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the event, for some relaxing quality time as a family or with friends.
Finally, to really end the day with a bang, there is a sound and lights show “Le Géant de Lumières”, projected onto the Porte de Sens as soon as the sun goes down.
